James Morrison has message for West Brom fans after nervy Watford win
James Morrison hailed the collective effort of everyone involved with West Bromwich Albion following Saturday's win over Watford.
The Baggies earned a slender 1-0 victory at The Hawthorns thanks to Jimmy-Jay Morgan's 36th-minute strike.
That was summer signing Morgan's third league goal of the season in what is proving to be a superb deal for Albion.
Morrison's men were never at their best, particularly for large parts of the first half, but they saw the job through on home soil.
The win takes West Brom up to fifth with five matches played as one of six teams on 10 points.
And Morrison knows full well just how big a part Albion fans played as the Baggies go from strength to strength.

It was not long ago at all that West Brom fans were accustomed to losing on an almost weekly basis.
Morrison did superbly to turn things around when replacing Eric Ramsay towards the end of last season, and that momentum has continued into this campaign.
The feel-good factor was clear to see around The Hawthorns on Saturday as the home fans got fully behind their side on a nervy afternoon.
Morrison thanked supporters after the game, saying: "They played their part. It really was a collective effort.
"They could see in the closing stages that the team needed help and they gave them that. They helped us over the line.
"Those victories sometimes are as rewarding as the total football ones. I sound like an old-fashioned manager, saying I love those 1-0 victories.”
Morrison may sound 'old fashioned', but he is bang on with what he says. Ultimately, a win is a win no matter by how many - or few - goals.
Who stood out for West Brom in Watford win?
West Brom should real fighting spirit to overcome Watford. It was far from a classic, but it was job done.
Morgan may have been the matchwinner, but Harry Whitwell was arguably Albion's best performer on the day.
He really was superb out wide and set up Morgan for what proved to be the only goal.
Credit must also go to Chris Mepham at the back as he was a rock, registering three clearances and one interception, while winning four tackles.
But it was a team effort in the end, and long may this continue for the Baggies.
