James Morrison was frustrated by one West Brom player's 'no show' vs Wolves
West Bromwich Albion boss James Morrison was rightly furious after the defeat away to Wolves.
The Baggies faithful are still reeling from a defeat in the Black County Derby last time out.
There was a general feeling that after a positive start to the season, the away side could have left Molineux with a result.
Instead, a Nat Phillips error allowed Fer Lopez in to convert past Max O'Leary.
The Old Gold sealed the win and the bragging rights, sparking an angry reaction from the travelling fans.
Morrison took issue with West Brom's performance, with one star now being highlighted for all the wrong reasons.
Why James Morrison was annoyed by Aune Heggebo vs Wolves
There were still some positives to take from the derby defeat.
O'Leary was sensational as he made several stunning saves to keep Wolves out for as long as he could.
Callum Styles also put in an excellent performance as he clocked up 16 defensive actions.
That sums up the Albion's problems as the forward line struggled to make any sort of impact.
Aune Heggebo was certainly guilty of that before he was taken off with half an hour to spare.
Steve Tudgay has now revealed that the Norway international's performance actually annoyed the head coach.
Taking to X on Tuesday, the journalist said: "Heggebo played in private friendly against Leicester on Saturday and Morrison will be hoping he sees a change, but he was so frustrated by Heggebo’s Wolves no show."
That sums up how poor his performance was, but what can he do to turn things around?
What Morrison needs from Heggebo at West Brom
The 25-year-old has had the backing of the B71 faithful ever since his move from Brann.
It has always felt as if there is a player there, if only his goal output was matched by his desire.
He has scored just two Championship goals this season, going without a strike in five matches.
His performance against Wolves was arguably his worst as he took seven touches and completed just one pass.
Heggebo didn't register a shot and lost every single one of his eight duels.
To get back in Morrison's good books, he simply needs to get involved more and show what he can do.
The Norwegian needs to win his duels and make himself a nuisance for opposition defenders.
Goals are also required, especially with Jimmy-Jay Morgan showing that he knows where the net is.
There may not be much time left for Heggebo to prove himself, especially with Morrison already getting annoyed.
