Jonas Olsson sends message as ex-West Brom star Saido Berahino makes big announcement
Jonas Olsson and Saido Berahino both left their mark while at West Bromwich Albion.
The pair were involved in some of the better times at The Hawthorns in the 21st century, particularly for their performances for Albion in the Premier League.
Olsson joined the Baggies in 2008 and went on to make many top-flight appearances for the club, even playing a part in promotion during the 2009-10 campaign.
However, the case of Berahino will always be a talked-about topic among Baggies fans after his bizarre time in England.
The once-promising striker bagged 25 goals and assists in 45 games combined throughout the 2014-15 season, scoring 14 goals in the Premier League, before leaving the Black Country Club to join Stoke in 2017 for £12million.
Berahino's career went downhill after he left West Brom, and Olsson has reacted to his former teammate's latest announcement.

Berahino's eye-catching 2014-15 campaign earned him an England call-up during the season, though he didn't make an appearance for the Three Lions.
He scored 36 goals in 120 games for West Brom before leaving for Stoke, where he was considered one of the Potters' worst signings in their history.
The 33-year-old has since played in Belgium and Cyprus since leaving Stoke, most recently playing for MND Tabor Sezana in Slovenia.
However, it appears that Berahino has now made the decision to walk away from football, announcing his retirement on Instagram this Sunday.
He paid special thanks to West Brom for the moments he shared at The Hawthorns, as Baggies fans will be left wondering, 'What if?'
His former Black Country Club comrade Olsson commented on his post, writing: "Good luck with your next chapter, mate."
West Brom's Ollie Bostock has liked the post, while plenty of Baggies fans send their well wishes in the comments, too.
Do West Brom have new Berahino in their ranks?
West Brom have prided themselves on their production of youth talent in recent years, with Harry Whitwell the latest to break through.
James Morrison is keen to give youngsters a chance to develop for Albion, and there is plenty of other top talent at the Fitlife Foods Performance Centre.
Rio Parmar has been making waves for the Baggies' U21s side and has continued his form on from last season.
The 19-year-old striker has five goal contributions in nine games so far this season, most recently scoring and grabbing an assist against Sutton United in the National League Cup.
Parmar is highly rated by West Brom officials, and could be the next big striker to break out at The Hawthorns.
