West Bromwich Albion are looking to continue an impressive start to their campaign in the Carabao Cup on Wednesday.

The Baggies started their domestic campaign with a 4-1 rout of Rotherham United in the same competition at the start of August.

Since then, Albion began the Championship campaign with a fine 2-1 victory at Norwich City.

A goal from Harry Whitwell and Isaac Price's double then saw off recently promoted Burnley in a 3-1 victory at The Hawthorns on Sunday.

James Morrison now takes his side to St James' Park to face Newcastle United on Wednesday in what promises to be a stern test for his in-form side.

Here, West Brom News has all the details for how Albion fans not travelling to Newcastle can watch the game at home.

How can I watch West Brom's Carabao Cup fixture with Newcastle United?

Newcastle were agonisingly close to starting their own campaign with victory against Liverpool.

However, Matthias Jaissle's first competitive game in charge ended in a 2-2 draw against Liverpool, with Dominik Szoboszlai scoring a last-gasp penalty.

So, West Brom need to be wary of a wounded animal in this round-two contest, but they travel with confidence.

Albion were given an allocation of just over 3,000 for travelling supporters for the fixture, so a good away following will be at St James' Park.

But, if you are unable to attend the game live, supporters can watch the game live on Sky Sports +, with the match kicking off at 7.45pm UK time.

What is West Brom's recent record like against Newcastle?

The Baggies have not faced off against Newcastle since their relegation from the Premier League in the 2020-21 campaign.

During that campaign, Albion lost 2-1 at St James' thanks to a late goal from former West Brom striker Dwight Gayle, and played out a goalless draw at The Hawthorns.

The Baggies were beaten 3-2 on home soil in the FA Cup in March 2020, having nearly fought back from three goals down.

West Brom's last victory at St James' came in April 2018, with Matt Phillips scoring the only goal in a 1-0 win.

Earlier that season, Albion surrendered a two-goal lead in a 2-2 draw with the Magpies at The Hawthorns.
