Sky Sports now change four more West Brom fixtures, key details and dates here
West Bromwich Albion fans will not be happy at hearing more changes to the fixture schedule.
EFL fans have long since gotten used to the fact that dates and kick-off times are shunted around with reckless abandon for Sky TV.
But that does not mean that supporters should be happy about the situation, which is frankly just becoming more and more ludicrous.
Supporters all over the country and treated as commodities. No one seems to care if they have early get-up calls, can't make last trains, or have to alter plans to meet changing fixtures.
Coverage of the game is more widespread than ever, and there's no turning back the tide on the changes that have happened.
But, it does not mean that supporters should not rail back against it, because frankly it is not fair that they keep being given the runaround.
Which West Brom fixtures have changed now?
West Brom News previously covered details of five West Brom fixtures that had changed details in the first two months of the season.
It was then announced on Friday that a further four would be changing following the October international break and the Christmas period, taking the tally to nine in total.
The first change takes place on Saturday, 10 October, with Albion's clash with Birmingham City now being moved to an earlier kick-off time of 12.30pm.
James Morrison's side host Southampton on Tuesday, 3 November, and while the date of that one remains the same, it will now start at the later of time of 8pm.
The Baggies final two matches before Christmas have also been affected, with the trip to Stoke City on Saturday, 12 December being brought forward to a 12.30pm start time.
And the last of the four sees a date switch, with West Brom now hosting Sheffield United on Friday, 18 December at 8pm. Originally, the fixture was due to take place on Saturday, 19 December.
When will the next batch of West Brom fixtures be changed?
Unfortunately, this certainly will not be the last time there will be changes to the fixture schedule.
The one good thing now is that there is at least more time given to accomodate the changes, but it still feels ridiculous to have the schedule messed with so much.
Albion supporters have the "fun" of learning affected changes for matches taking place between between 16 January, 2027 and 3 March, 2027 on 6 November.
