West Bromwich Albion had a nightmarish start in the 3-2 win against Blackburn Rovers on Saturday.

The Baggies found themselves two goals behind in 12 minutes after a brace from Andri Gudjohnsen.

In the sixth minute, after the Albion lost the ball near the box, it found the feet of the Iceland international, who beat Max O'Leary from around 20 yards out.

Gudjohnsen scored his second from a corner, which should've been dealt with better at The Hawthorns.

It wasn't the best ball into the box, and given its height, someone in a white and blue shirt should've cleared it.

Jayson Molumby completely botched his clearance and Gudjohnsen was on the spot to make the most of the chance presented to him.

Tony Brown unhappy with West Brom defending vs Blackburn Rovers

Tony Brown raged at West Brom's inability to clear the ball before Gudjohnsen scored his second.

The Baggies legend wasn't impressed seeing the team's defending for the corner, with the Iceland international unmarked so close to goal.

In five consecutive Championship games now, the Albion have failed to keep a clean sheet.

The midfielders haven't made things easy for the backline, and the opening two goals could've been avoided if the West Midlands hadn't made silly mistakes.

Speaking on BBC Radio WM, Brown said, "Terrible defending again from West Brom. That's all you can say about it.

"How can you be three or four yards out and just hit the ball into the goal? No challenge at all from a defender. Nobody on the goalscorer. Poor defensive play."

How James Morrison turned things around vs Blackburn Rovers

Last season, if West Brom had gone two goals down, fans wouldn't have had any hope of a comeback.

Under James Morrison, there's a belief among the players when facing adversity and Barney Stewart halved the deficit before the break.

The Baggies didn't let Blackburn slow the game down after they went two goals ahead and pushed Tony Mowbray's team back.

Morrison was forced to bring on Ousmane Diakite just before the break to replace Toby Collyer and the Mali international was a game-changing substitution for the Albions.

Isaac Price was calm and composed from the spot as he scored West Brom's second and Felix Horn Myhre then got the winner in the 89th minute.

The Baggies were on top in the second 45 minutes and deserved to make the comeback at The Hawthorns.
