Felix Horn Myhre could be one of three Championship debutants when West Brom face Norwich on Saturday.

The Norwegian grabbed his first Baggies goal in the 4-1 Carabao Cup win over Rotherham after coming off the bench.

James Morrison went strong for that contest, despite the League Two opposition, and will do the same against the Canaries.

The Baggies travel to Carrow Road on 15 August to begin their Championship campaign, looking to start on a positive note.

The Hawthorns side have made several signings as they look to move up the table, and pull away from the relegation battle that they were in last season.

And Myhre won't be the only one to make their league debut for Albion.

How could West Brom line-up against Norwich in their Championship opener?

Max O'Leary was retained this summer, and he is expected to keep his position between the sticks.

Morrison is predicted to go with the same backline, debutant Nolan Galves at right-back, Nat Phillips and George Campbell at centre-back and Callum Styles on the left.

Ousmane Diakite might retain his place in central midfielder, but Alex Mowatt could be replaced by Horn Myhre, given the speculation surrounding a move to Derby County.

Harry Whitwell will be fit for the contest, so he is predicted to get the nod of the right flank.

Mikey Johnson will be ruled out, Morrison confirmed in his pre-match press conference, so Isaac Price is expected to feature from the left wing.

Jimmy-Jay Morgan might partner Aune Heggebo upfront, after the potential league debutant notched two goals in the cup.

Felix Horn Myhre's numbers show exactly why West Brom have made their move

Why West Brom fans will want to see Horn Myhre's debut

Horn Myhre featured for the second-half against the Millers and it was a very encouraging display.

As well as his goal, he completed 80 per cent of his passes, created one chance and had two shots on target, per Fotmob data.

He made five defensive contributions, with five tackles and three recoveries in the contest.

In terms of duels, he won six of 10 on the ground, for a 60 per cent success rate.

Those numbers suggest that he will have no problem adapting to the English game rather quickly.
