West Brom's new strongest starting XI: Jimmy Jay-Morgan in as fellow new signing makes the cut

James Morrison knows the full extent of his West Bromwich Albion squad following deadline day.

The Baggies have had a busy window, with the B71 outfit completing plenty of deals to hand Morrison the best possible tools for this season.

West Brom's squad is certainly looking much different to last season's and fans will be hoping for a different outcome than a relegation battle.

And with that number of new arrivals, Morrison will have a headache on his hands over his best starting lineup.

Here is what we believe, with everyone fit, is West Brom's strongest starting side.

Are there any new signings in defence in West Brom's best lineup?

West Brom have just signed Brayaan Pereira, but with no performances for the Baggies under his belt it is hard to see him going straight into the best lineup.

For now, that place is for fullback Nolan Galves, who is deployed at right-back in this side.

Nat Phillips and George Campbell start as the centre-back duo, with Callum Styles over on the left-side of the back four.

Max O'Leary keeps the goal, with no place for new signing Matt Ingram in this lineup.

Does James Morrison face a Jimmy-Jay Morgan and Aune Heggebo decision?

Morrison has two strikers at his disposal that can both do an excellent job.

The West Brom manager was not been able to turn to Aune Heggebo for a couple of games, due to suspension, but he was then dropped upon return.

Jimmy Jay-Morgan has been in exceptional form, picking up two goals and two assists so far this season, and dropping him at the moment is unlikely.

West Brom's best lineup could see the pair form a partnership up top, and that was the tactic Morrison used in the opening weeks of the season.

Behind them, Isaac Price of course starts out wide, with Harry Whitwell performing exceptionally on the opposite side.

Morrison's central midfield options is where it gets tricky though.

Morrison has two spots open for either of Ousmane Diakite, Jayson Molumby, Felix Horn Myhre, Toby Collyer and Rabby Nzingoula.

Diakite is likely to be at least one of those players, with Molumby's experience a reason for him to be his partner.

As of now, there is no place for Kareem Tunde, Myhre, Collyer, Nzingoula or Barney Stewart alongside Pereira, the aforementioned Ingram, and Conor Townsend.

However, as time goes and these new signings continue to adapt to life in B71, it will be no surprise if a couple more of those push their way in.
