West Bromwich Albion are still getting their ducks in a row this transfer window.

The Baggies have done a few bits of business, but James Morrison will be keen to see more arrivals in the next few weeks.

Forwards Jimmy-Jay Morgan and Barney Stewart have arrived from Chelsea and Falkirk respectively.

Goalkeeper Matt Ingram has also been signed from Oxford United after Josh Griffiths left for Championship rivals Stoke City.

But supporters will be keen to see more arrivals to flesh out the squad before they face Norwich City in their Championship opener on 15 August, with the EFL Cup tie against Rotherham United taking place a week prior.

Here, West Brom News has ranked Albion's squad from strongest to weakest given what we know about the transfer window so far.

West Brom goalkeepers ranked - 7/10

There has been some up upheaval to Albion's goalkeeping ranks in recent seasons.

Indeed, even this summer Griffiths has departed and Joe Wildsmith has left The Hawthorns on a free.

But the signing of Ingram to back up Max O'Leary might mean that one is a non-starter.

With O'Leary and Ingram on the books, though, the Baggies are in reasonable shape in the goalkeeper department.

West Brom midfielders ranked - 7/10

Albion do have some reasonable options in the centre of the park as things stand.

Isaac Price endured a mixed back of a campaign last term, starting and finishing well but - like most of his team-mates - struggled during the dark days of Ryan Mason and Eric Ramsay.

Indeed, he had a heated exchange with fans following a 3-0 defeat at Portsmouth during the really low times.

But he can be a really good operator at this level, and with Ousmane Diakite and Jayson Molumby capable operators at this level there are more bigger areas of concern.

Alex Mowatt is still on the books, though he might be allowed to move on, while teenager Ollie Bostock will hope to kick on this season.

West Brom defenders ranked - 6/10

Albion are looking just a touch light in the defensive ranks at the moment.

Krystian Bielik, George Campbell, Nat Phillips, and Chris Mepham are the current centre-back options, so there is decent cover there - although there have been some suggestions the latter might move on.

Callum Styles has got the left-back position on lock, but Alfie Gilchrist has been linked with an exit at right-back.

Some additions in defence, particuarly at full-back, wouldn't go amiss.

Indeed, Danny Imray is a player Albion would love to bring back after he impressed on loan from Crystal Palace last term.

West Brom forwards ranked - 4/10

This one is more down to the lack of options currently available.

Darly Dike, Karlan Grant, and Josh Maja will not be around next season, and that leaves significant work needed on the forward line.

Aune Heggebo will look to improve on the nine Championship goals he managed in his debut campaign last time out.

Mikey Johnston will be out to add more consistency to his game when he returns from injury.

Morgan and Stewart are both young and itching to make an impact, so this score has every chance to rise in the early weeks of the season.
