Felix Horn Myhre directly responds to question about summer move to West Brom

Felix Horn Myhre has spoken out on his intentions after links emerged to West Brom.

The Baggies are understood to have made contact with SK Brann over a move for the midfielder.

James Morrison is keen on reinforcements in the engine room to compete with the likes of Alex Mowatt, Jayson Molumby and Ousmane Diakite.

West Brom News shared reports that Albion are not alone in their pursuit of the seven-cap international.

Spanish side Elche are also in the mix for his signature, and they have reportedly already made a bid.

The player has now revealed where his preferred destination lies.

He was asked about his future and where he would like to play between the Alicante-based outfit and the Black Country side.

His response was telling as he revealed that the weather in Spain would tempt him, when speaking to Davy Wathne.

He said: "I honestly don't know"

"The temperature in Spain is tempting after a summer like this."

How could West Brom convince Horn Myhre to join them?

It seems as though Morrison's side will have a tough task to convince the player to join them instead.

However, it is far from impossible at this point that he ends up wearing the navy and white shirt.

They could simply outbid the Spanish side, to a figure that they can't match and then the player has no choice but to move to B71, as their rivals can't afford him.

If both sides had an offer of the same amount accepted by his current club, then they could gazump the Green-striped ones when it comes to wages.

They could also give him assurances over playing time, as if he is starting each week in the Championship, that could be a selling point for a move.

The idea of playing alongside compatriot Aune Heggebo could also be something that may interest him, and put the advantage in the Throstles' favour.

If they outline a genuine ambition to return to the Premier League, and a clear plan on how to do so, that may also help to persuade Horn Myhre that The Hawthorns is the right destination for him.
