Karlan Grant posts cryptic four-word tweet amid West Brom transfer speculation
Huddersfield striker Karlan Grant has posted a cryptic message on Twitter amid speculation linking him with a move to West Brom.
The Athletic journalist Steve Madeley has reported that Grant, 22, is Slaven Bilic's number one striker target ahead of the new Premier League season kicking off this weekend and talks are ongoing about a transfer fee with Huddersfield.
Grant's social media activity has already caused a stir with the Terriers centre-forward sending an Instagram message to Grady Diangana last week after he completed a permanent move to West Brom from West Ham.
He's now taken to his personal Twitter account to suggest that something could happen to him in the near future, saying: "Always trust the process."
It should also be noted that Grant's used an egg-timer emoji in the tweet, which further suggests that the countdown is on for something to happen.
Bilic is in desperate need of a new striker before the Premier League season kicks off this weekend with the Baggies playing host to Leicester City at The Hawthorns.
Hal Robson-Kanu and Charlie Austin had their moments in the Championship last season but the club would be very, very wrong if they thought they would be good enough for the top-flight.
As for Kenneth Zohore, we don't really need to go into much detail about his chances of shining in the Premier League.
Grant represents an upgrade on every striker we have.
He's young, he has a brilliant campaign with Huddersfield last term by scoring 19 goals, he can play on the wing and seems to be affordable, otherwise, Albion wouldn't be trying so hard to sign him.
We hope his tweet suggests that he's on the move but it could also be a tweet to his fans at Huddersfield to suggest he's staying put.
