West Brom are plotting a bid worth £15million to sign Hull City attacker Jarrod Bowen, according to Football Insider.

The news outlet claims that Slaven Bilic is keen to bolster his attacking options in the January transfer window and as the Baggies have funds available, they are lining up a bid to land the in-form 23-year-old.

Bowen has scored 17 goals and supplied three assists in 23 appearances across all competitions for Hull this season.

He's played predominantly on the right-wing but the former Hereford ace has also been seen as a centre-forward at the KCOM Stadium this term.

League-leading West Brom boast the best goalscoring record in the Championship as it stands having scored 45 goals in 22 matches.

Adding a player as prolific as Bowen in the January window is only going to make Bilic's attack even more threatening but who gets dropped to make way for the 23-year-old if he does get signed?

Matt Phillips has been one of West Brom's best players this season and he occupies the same right-wing position as Bowen.

If Bilic wanted to play his £15million target up front then do Hal Robson-Kanu and Charlie Austin drop down the pecking order?

Bowen is a player who is good enough that he should walk into the West Brom side but with Bilic's men playing so well at the moment, it would be harsh to suggest any of his starting players need to be improved upon.

If anything, Bowen is a player who can get West Brom ready for the Premier League. He clearly has the talent to be playing top-flight football next term.
