The transfer headache Ollie Bostock has just given West Brom ahead of deadline day

West Bromwich Albion have a late transfer decision to make on Ollie Bostock.

Albion have a busy day ahead on Tuesday's transfer deadline day, with incomings and outgoings still possible.

James Morrison's side appear to have completed most of their incomings, though another signing could yet arrive at The Hawthorns before the 11pm cut-off.

But decisions need to be made on players who are surplus to requirements, and perhaps even more importantly, some of the young talent at the club.

Bostock was in and around the first team last season, and has got into form for the U21s at an interesting time.

Ollie Bostock increases his stock on eve of deadline day

Bostock featured for the Baggies' U21s side on Monday, scoring twice in a 4-4 draw against Derby County in the Premier League 2.

This has sparked conversation between Albion fans online over what the Black Country Club should do with the attacker.

There have been no concrete reports to suggest that clubs are interested in the 19-year-old, but deadline day is where many youngsters appear to find late moves for themselves.

Bostock will most certainly have alerted several EFL sides with his display on the eve of deadline day, which could see offers submitted for the left-winger.

With how West Brom's squad is looking, a loan move could be best for Bostock.

But could Morrison keep him around? It is a headache of a good kind for the Baggies.

Bostock managed 10 minutes off the bench in the Carabao Cup defeat to Newcastle, and was on the bench in the win over Burnley.

He only made nine appearances for Albion last season, and needs more game time to develop.

But Morrison is a big fan of the wide man.

Speaking to Express & Star at the end of May, the boss said: "He's had big growth.

"He's been with us from the start of pre-season, he had to learn the position and learn what is expected being in the first-team environment. He got his chance and did really well."

West Brom could still sanction a loan exit for Bostock, and if not on deadline day, then perhaps in the winter window.
