West Bromwich Albion have agreed a deal to sign Levante forward Kareem Tunde.

The Baggies are closing in on their next signing of the summer, as James Morrison looks to add further quality in attack.

Albion have already signed the likes of Jimmy-Jay Morgan, Barney Stewart and Rabby Nzingoula, but want further reinforcements out wide.

Speculation remains around the future of Mikey Johnston, and the move for Tunde could raise further doubts on the former.

It has been expected that the Black Country Club were going to try and sign a new wide forward, and it appears they are close to doing so.

West Brom agree package deal for Kareem Tunde

Tunde looks set to fly to England to put the finishing touches on a move to West Brom.

As reported by 90 Minuts reporter Salva Gomis, Albion have agreed a package deal worth £4.3million for the 21-year-old.

It's said that Shilen Patel's club will pay £2.6m in an up-front fee, with an additional £1.7m going Levante's way in potential add-ons.

The Spanish side will also be due 20 per cent of any future profits that West Brom make on the right-winger.

It's a transfer that has come out of the blue, but further details on Tunde will make Baggies fans sit up.

What we know about Tunde as a player

Tunde primarily operates on the right wing, but can play on either flank.

He is a left-footed forward who is a former product of Barcelona's academy system.

He joined La Masia in 2017, leaving three years later before joining Levante's setup in 2022.

Tunde made his La Liga debut for the Spanish outfit last season, racking up 21 appearances, but only registering one assist.

Though he did not score last season, he doesn't seem to be a goal-scoring threat, only tallying 1.16 xG in 17 starts.

Tunde had impressive defensive stats, and boasted a 48.4 per cent dribbling success on average in Spain's top flight.

The youngster played 14 minutes in Levante's opening La Liga game against Espanyol, and looks to have played his final match in Spain.
