What is West Brom's priority as Yanis Issoufou interest ends?
Issoufou is no longer of interest to Albion, but he has still has Championship sides after him.
A report from Sky Sports on Saturday claims that Millwall and Cardiff are chasing his services.
It states that the Throstles are now out of the race for the attacker, who has notched once in four Ligue 2 games this season, and have moved on to priority positions.
It is understood that they are looking for a centre-back ahead of Tuesday's 11pm deadline.
Why West Brom need a centre-back
The Baggies need reinforcements in central defence as they only have three senior options right now, after Krystian Bielik's departure to Cardiff City.
Nat Phillips, Chris Mepham and captain George Campbell are Morrison's current choices in the position.
Albion signed Carter Pinnington from Liverpool earlier this summer, but he is viewed as a player for the Under-21s at the moment, and not ready for a first-team berth.
That means that another centre-back is needed, as they can't afford to have three for the whole campaign, when the Championship season alone is 46 matches.
They are running out of time to add one to the squad, though, and if they don't, then Pinnington may be called upon to feature sooner than expected, despite the view that the club have of him.
It is encouraging that they are trying to add one before the deadline, but it should not have reached this point where they are scraping the barrel for a squad option.
