Imray was part of the squad that helped turn things around under Morrison with his performances earning plenty of praise.

In an ideal world, Imray returns to West Brom. After all, he is a player who has proven to work under Morrison.

But that will all depend on Crystal Palace and whether West Brom can agree to a deal.

In the event that cannot come to a positive conclusion, the Baggies will need to look elsewhere.

According to West Brom journalist Lewis Cox, writing for the Express and Star on Friday, Kabore is one name that has been doing the rounds for a potential right-back signing.

The Burkinabe defender is currently a Manchester City player and proved himself capable of being a high-end Championship star for Wrexham last season.

Kabore played 30 times for the Welsh side, picking up eight assists during his time as Wrexham narrowly missed out on the play-offs.

What differences does Kabore have compared to Danny Imray?

West Brom will want their next right-back to arrive with a similar impact to what Imray delivered after joining on loan in January.

And when it comes to Kabore, he is quite similar to the Crystal Palace man.

The pair took up similar positions on the right flank as per Sofascore, but Kabore does tend to push slightly further up and go to the byline more often.

Difference wise, Kabore is a much more creative option, highlighted by both his assists total and the fact he created 10 big chances over the course of the season.

His arrival would signify a different way to attack for Morrison, and that would provide plenty of excitement in B71.
