Kareem Tunde looks to be West Bromwich Albion-bound, with James Morrison admitting a deal is close.

The Levante winger would add much-needed legs to the Baggies' forward options as Morrison's side have been eyeing attacking reinforcements.

Additionally, the former Barcelona youth product is known for his speed and has gained valuable experience with Levante over the last year.

Now, Tunde is looking to become a regular starter for this 2026-2027 season, with the Baggies possibly offering that chance.

West Brom have made seven signings already this season.

However, Tunde may turn out to be one of the bigger bargains they have made this summer.

How much is Kareem Tunde worth as West Brom close in on transfer

West Brom have shown no signs of standing still or regressing through their actions in the market.

And the potential arrival of Tunde proves that.

As shared by the Express and Star, following West Brom's 3-2 loss to Newcastle, Morrison stated: "It’s close.”

And while a package around £4million is mooted for the deal with £2.5m up front, the Hawthorns side are actually paying below market value.

According to the CIES Observatory's fair market value tool, Tunde is worth around £5m to £5.8m in the current transfer landscape.

Showing that the B71 outfit have been smart to find good deals in the market this summer.

Hope will be that Tunde can help aid the impressive start see in B71 this campaign with West Brom winning their opening two Championship games.

Next up for Morrison and his squad is a trip to Riverside to face Middlesbrough, with fans eager to know if Tunde can be involved in that fixture.

Could Tunde make his debut this weekend?

While the transfer is yet to be announced, the report does share that Tunde could be part of the squad against Middlesbrough.

They state that Morrison "could be boosted" by the winger's arrival while Aune Heggebo is also poised to return following his suspension.

With a lack of training with West Brom and an early Saturday kick-off of 12.30 PM, Tunde would likely only be ready for the bench.

But his burst of pace and energy may be a good weapon to have should the details of the deal be finalised in time.

Hopefully it will not be long before the Spaniard is announced as a Baggies player.
