Two players ruled out for West Brom clash v Middlesbrough

Slaven Bilic has delivered a mixed injury update ahead of West Brom’s trip to Middlesbrough on Saturday afternoon.

Talking in his pre-match press conference, as quoted by the Express & Star, Bilic said that Kieran Gibbs and Kenneth Zohore have both been ruled out.

Zohore has picked up a calf problem and will miss the next two games, against Boro and Barnsley on Tuesday.

Kieran Gibbs has broken a toe but Bilic said it wasn’t too bad and he should only miss two-and-a-half weeks of action.

Ahmed Hegazi is back after playing 90 minutes for Egypt in their 1-0 win against Botswana in the international break.

That was his first senior appearance of the season after ankle surgery in the summer.

Grady Diangana is also fit to play and his four goals and two assists have played a big part in the Baggies sitting where they are at the moment – at the top of the Championship after 11 games.
