Sky Sports pundit predicts West Brom v Charlton clash

Sky Sports pundit David Prutton has predicted an exciting Baggies win on Saturday, that will keep West Brom top of the league.

He thinks there will be plenty of goals at The Hawthorns but thinks West Brom will have too much for Lee Bowyer’s Charlton side.

Writing in his regular column for Sky Sports, he has predicted a 3-2 home win.

Elsewhere, he thinks that second and third-placed sides Leeds and Sheffield Wednesday will play out an entertaining draw, which would mean the Baggies sitting four points ahead of Leeds.

That would make for a great weekend. We still think Leeds are going to be our closest rivals to the title this season and the two sides are certainly playing the best football in the Championship.

Charlton are suffering from a number of key injuries ahead of the game and can’t play the two West Brom loanees, Jonathan Leko and Sam Field. Manager Lee Bowyer was also concerned at having a day less recovery time after playing in the Championship on Wednesday.

Meanwhile, Matty Phillips should be back and we’re predicting that Slaven Bilic will make three changes to the team.

In other West Brom news, fans blasted this senior player for his performance against Barnsley on Tuesday night.
