View: One player to be dropped in double change - West Brom predicted XI v Brentford
Slaven Bilic is predicted to make two changes to his starting line-up ahead of the West Brom clash against Brentford at The Hawthorns on Saturday.
Grady Diangana suffered a back injury in Albion’s 3-2 win against Birmingham last week and could miss the rest of the month as he recovers.
Bilic has a few options to replace the on-loan West Ham winger but he is most likely to opt to start Kyle Edwards on the left-wing.
Edwards, 21, replaced Diangana at St Andrew’s last week when he was substituted off and it is expected that Bilic will make a straight swap for the meeting with Brentford.
Conor Townsend could also be dropped from the left-back role with Nathan Ferguson switching over to the left-hand side of the defence and Darnell Furlong returning at right-back.
Sam Johnstone is expected to start in goals behind a back-four of Furlong, Semi Ajayi, Kyle Bartley and Ferguson.
Jake Livermore and Romaine Sawyers have been ever-presents in the central midfield positions and are highly likely to start in those same roles when Brentford visit the Black Country.
Matt Phillips is predicted to start on the right-wing with Edwards on the left and in-form Matheus Pereira in the central attacking midfield role.
Charlie Austin has scored six goals in his last five but West Brom seem to do better when Hal Robson-Kanu starts up front.
Robson-Kanu has gone two appearances without scoring for the first time since the start of October but is predicted to spearhead the West Brom attack this weekend.
In other West Brom news, David Prutton has predicted the outcome of Albion’s match against the Bees.
