Slaven Bilic makes 'two more' West Brom transfer claim
West Brom boss Slaven Bilic has claimed that the club are trying to make “two more” signings before the end of the transfer window.
The Baggies have been busy in the transfer market in recent days, securing a loan deal for Chelsea youngster Connor Gallagher until the end of the season.
But it is understood that the the manager is keen on bringing in another striker, with Aston Villa flop Mbwana Samatta emerging as a potential target.
And Bilic is hopeful that he can bring in a duo of fresh faces as his side bid for Premier League survival.
Speaking to BT Sport, when asked if he planned on doing any more spending before the transfer window shuts next month, he said: “We are trying.
“Unfortunately we don’t have that kind of a budget.
“Hopefully, we’re going to get two more.
“If we get it brilliant, if we don’t we aren’t going to cry. We’re going to fight.”
"In the Championship you don't get punished… but here, the front players are clinical and they don't miss."

You’ve got to love Slav.
This season isn’t going to be a walk in the park, but you can tell that he is fully committed to the battle, and when you hear him speak it’s hard not to be swept up in his charisma.
That personality will only get him so far though, and a decent hitman would surely take him a whole lot further.
Samatta has been touted in recent days, but do we really want a forward who had a lower shot accuracy, xG, and goals per game than Kenneth Zohore’s last term, as per Wyscout?
We don’t think so.
Fingers crossed Bilic is able to get the players he actually wants, and is given the best possible chance of keeping us afloat in this division.
In other West Brom news, Bilic confirmed an injury blow to one of his players after the win against Harrogate.
