Report shares if Callum Robinson could feature for WBA v Man United after COVID-19 test

West Brom forward Callum Robinson has returned a positive COVID-19 test on Wednesday afternoon.

Robinson has returned from international duty and will miss the Republic of Ireland’s games with England, Bulgaria and Wales.

The 25-year-old will now have to self-isolate for 10 days, and there has been some doubt raised over his availability against Manchester United after the break.

The Express and Star have reported that the Irish forward could still feature at Old Trafford, a game which is 10 days from now.

It is claimed that Robinson is showing no symptoms and is feeling fine despite the positive test, something that couldn’t affect him too much.

With Branislav Ivanovic and Matheus Pereira also testing positive in the past week, it appears that there is a slight outbreak at the Hawthorns.

Should no-one else test positive, all three of those players could return against the Red Devils after the international break.

Robinson returned to the starting XI against Spurs on Sunday afternoon and impressed when starting central with Karlan Grant.

The forward attempted his most crosses in a game this season according to WyScout, and also won his most attacking duels against a tough defence.

After a performance full of grit and determination, Slaven Bilic will have been tempted to keep the exact same side at Old Trafford.

With this latest update, the Croatian should have that luxury if none of his players return with injuries and the XI from Sunday deserve that chance.
