West Brom have been linked with a number of different strikers as their search continues in the January market.
Sam Allardyce has made it clear that he wants reinforcements in the final third, with numerous enquiries being sent out.
Sky Sports’ Kaveh Sohekol reported that Angers striker Stephane Bahoken had been offered to the Albion on a loan-to-buy basis, along with Clement Grenier.
That appears to have been rubbished already, though.
Express and Star journalist Joseph Masi has shared an update on his personal Twitter account, claiming that he is confident that it won’t happen.
“No, pretty confident that’s all rubbish,” he wrote.

Whenever one club makes it clear that they want a player in a certain position, the media begins to link every single available option with a move.
The Baggies continue to be linked with plenty of European options, and Bahoken can be chalked off the list after this Masi update.
Galatasaray forward Mbaye Diagne appears to be the main target.
The Daily Mail have reported that the Albion have opened talks with the Turkish club as they look to seal a loan move with a possible obligation to buy.
Diagne has been in electrifying form this season, scoring 11 goals – nine of those coming in his previous nine games.
With Bahoken having only scored five this season and failing to find the back of the net in his past seven outings, it appears the Baggies are going after the right option.
