Confirmed West Brom XI to play West Ham

Sam Allardyce has made one change to the West Brom line-up for the visit of West Ham on Wednesday night.

Albion were so close to result against Liverpool and because of that Big Sam has gone with a similar team.

Ainsley Maitland-Niles comes back into the side to replace Grady Diangana, who struggled a little last time out.

Allardyce has resorted to a typical midfield with Matheus Pereira likely to play out wide as Big looks to get one over on a former club, who are chasing a European qualification place.

Playing for pride

For much of the season Albion have not looked like a Premier League outfit so it would be nice to beat a side that has impressed this year.

We showed against Liverpool twice this term that we can go toe to toe with anyone on our day – it is a shame those performances have been few and far between.

Albion did not have luck on our side last Sunday but as long as we frustrate West Ham and push men forward we could come away with a win.

The Hammers are playing under a lot of pressure due to their league position and Big Sam will likely look to use that against them.

This could be the final home game for several West Brom players, including Pereira and Okay Yokuslu.

We hope and expect the crowd to get right behind them, and hopefully that leads the pair to produce something special.
