West Brom host Derby County at The Hawthorns on Tuesday night hoping to extend their lead at the top of the Championship table.

Saturday’s 1-1 draw with Millwall was enough to send Albion above Fulham and into first place by a point, and with the Cottagers and third-placed Stoke City not playing until Wednesday, Valerien Ismael’s men can go four points clear with a win over the Rams.

Wayne Rooney’s side, however, will make the short trip to the West Midlands desperate to claim a victory for themselves after a run of four games without one.

West Brom News spoke to @AnalyticsDerby ahead of tonight’s game to gauge the mood among the away supporters.

What have you made of West Brom’s start to the season? Who do you regard as Albion’s biggest threat?

West Brom have started the season exactly how I expected them to. Bringing his direct aggressive style from Barnsley, the manager will do well with the quality players at the club. I like Alex Mowatt and I think his passing into the more physical players could cause Derby problems.

What have you made of Derby’s start to the season?

It’s been a mixed start, vastly improved on last season, but we have a very small squad due to being embargoed which will make it a challenging year.

Who should Baggies watch out for in the Rams side tonight?

Ravel Morrison and Max Bird. Morrison has strong creativity in the attacking areas while Bird is a steady midfielder who tries to control the tempo of the game.

Are there any weak links in this Derby side?

We don’t have a strong, physical striker available after the injury to Colin Kazim-Richards. Another weak link is concentration. Derby gift chances to opponents that are avoidable.

Score prediction?

I think it will be 1-0 to West Brom but Derby will show a better performance than their last game, a 2-0 loss to Birmingham who had a similar style to West Brom.
