West Brom were handed a defeat by Swansea at the Liberty Stadium on Wednesday night, with the hosts scoring twice in the second-half after Karlan Grant’s first-minute opener.

The result saw the Baggies drop out of the automatic promotion places into third, with six points now between them and leaders Bournemouth.

While it was only their second loss in 13 games, it was a second defeat in their last three matches having gone unbeaten in the league until defeat at Stoke City earlier this month.

West Brom put in a below-par performance against the Swans, and the fans are fuming with Valerien Ismael.

We asked our esteemed panel of West Brom Super Fans at full-time how they felt following a shocking second half, and here’s what they had to say…

Uninspiring

The Frenchman does not have a plan B, and while plan A works sometimes, things go wrong once opponents know what to do with the ball and hold on to it better.

Barnsley were no different under Ismael last term, and it proved costly against Swansea in the semi-finals of the promotion play-offs.

Despite having a new manager in Russell Martin, the Welsh team knew exactly what to do against a team assembled by the 46-year-old.

The emphatic victories over Sheffield United and Cardiff City are the only times the Baggies have truly impressed this term, with their other five wins coming through a one-goal margin.

It speaks volumes, and it is safe to say their struggles would likely continue if they do not come up with another style of playing and winning games as soon as possible.

In other West Brom news, Valerien Ismael has been left delighted as Sky Sports make Baggies decision.
