Predicted West Brom starting XI v Bristol City

West Brom go into their Championship clash against Bristol City on Saturday afternoon looking to bounce back.

The Baggies were far from their best last night as Swansea came from one goal down to steal all three points.

Valerien Ismael has plenty of problems facing him going into this one at The Hawthorns, and it could get worst before things get better.

Sam Johnstone will start in goal and will be hoping for a more solid backline ahead of him than last night.

Darnell Furlong and Conor Townsend will also be hoping for better, with more possession hopefully pushing them further forward into attacking areas.

Semi Ajayi frustrated Ismael, and he will make way for Kean Bryan to make his first start for the club alongside Matt Clarke and Kyle Bartley.

The real issue is Alex Mowatt and Jake Livermore with both set to miss out – the latter is suspended and the former Barnsley man needs rest for his foot injury.

Jayson Molumby will continue in midfield, but there will be a shock start for Robert Snodgrass alongside him – with no real other options.

Grady Diangana is set to start upon his return, replacing Matt Phillips to partner Karlan Grant and Callum Robinson.

Here’s how we expect the Baggies to line up…
