Kenneth Zohore out for six to eight weeks for West Brom
West Brom are starting to welcome back their big names players into the squad after numerous injury problems.
Just as it usually goes though, as some come back, others are hit with fresh injuries and are forced out of action.
Kenneth Zohore is the latest of those, just a week after Valeiren Ismael left the door open for him to come back into the fold.
Joseph Chapman shared the latest news on his personal Twitter account, accompanied by the story that shared Zohore could be out for up to two months.
“Albion injury update,” he wrote. “They’re looking pretty good, out of those who picked up bumps and knocks before the international break.
“Big Ken is out for the foreseeable though.”
Baggies career over?
This will all-but-end the Albion stay of Zohore, with no real chance of him working his way back into the fold now.
Having been dropped down to the under-23s in recent weeks and months, the big Dane started to find the back of the net.
Ismael admitted only last week that Zohore could fight his way back into the first-team fold but that now looks unlikely.
That will take him past the January window nearly, and there has already been talks of a new striker arriving, with Daryl Dike said to be the number one target.
Should he arrive, Zohore has no chance of working his way back in.
This is a major blow in terms of his career at The Hawthorns, but we don’t think it would raise too many concerns in the fanbase.
