Daryl Dike arrives at West Brom training ground
Orlando City striker Daryl Dike has arrived at the West Brom training ground ahead of joining in an early January deal, according to the Daily Mail.
The newspaper reports that Albion are “close to finalising” a loan deal for the 21-year-old with the Black Country club “willing to make the move permanent in the summer”.
Earlier on Saturday, Telegraph journalist John Percy reported that Dike is due to have a medical with the Baggies this weekend and will be in attendance at The Hawthorns on Sunday for the Championship clash with Cardiff City.

No messing about
It’s very unlike West Brom to do their business early in the transfer window but in this case, Dike is someone who they simply had to sign.
It’s a no-brainer of a deal for the club.
Valerien Ismael got the best out of Dike last season when he was on loan at Barnsley, where he scored nine goals in 19 Championship matches.
He’s also been in stunning form for Orlando City in the MLS, netting 11 times in 19 matches for them since his Oakwell loan spell ended in the sumer.

With the MLS season now over, moving in for Dike makes a lot of sense and grabbing him early stops some of the Premier League clubs who’ve been linked with him for gazumping the Baggies.
Albion have struggled for goals this season with Ismael seriously lacking a proper centre-forward who’s capable of scoring.
USA international Dike is an out-and-out striker who knows how to score. Jordan Hugill and Kenneth Zohore have been woeful while Karlan Grant prefers to play on the left, cutting inside onto his right foot.
We’re really excited about this deal.
In other West Brom news, a star QPR player has been ruled out of playing against the Albion later this month.
