Jeff Stelling predicts West Brom clash v Peterborough

Jeff Stelling has backed West Brom to return to winning ways against Peterborough on Saturday afternoon.

The Baggies welcome the Posh to The Hawthorns knowing that they are desperate for three points in the Championship promotion picture.

Valerien Ismael has plenty of decisions to make, with form nearly hitting an all-time low with defeat at Queens Park Rangers.

Stelling has made his prediction for Sky Sports’ Super 6, backing the Albion to come away with all three points in a 2-1 win.

Sky Sports regular Neil Mellor has also made his prediction and has gone for a much more convincing display which will end in a 3-0 victory for the home side.

Do it.

This is the time for Daryl Dike.

There is no excuse that Ismael can use to leave our new marquee signing on the bench, as he did at QPR – something that still baffles us.

Dike had been at the club for two weeks and had been training, so his fitness will have been fine and he had been around the squad for long enough to start.

Peterborough is the perfect game for him, with weakened opposition the chance for the striker to get off the mark in front of the home faithful.

We clearly prefer Mellor’s 3-0 prediction rather than the tight affair that Stelling is expecting over the weekend.

Time to put our foot on the gas and make a real push for that top two, they are up for grabs at this moment – time to take them.
