Karlan Grant delighted with West Brom ace Taylor Gardner-Hickman
Karlan Grant has expressed with delight for West Brom youngster Taylor Gardner-Hickman after the Baggies won 2-0 against Hull City.
Steve Bruce picked up his first win as a Baggies manager as they finally ended their long losing streak.
Gardner-Hickman, started in central midfield for the second time this season, and the academy graduate did impress.

Grant, who netted both goals and produced his best performance of the season, has admitted that they’ve been poor away from home.
“At Hull, we were just delighted to win again. We haven’t been great away from home, we haven’t been great at home,” said Grant, as quoted by Express and Star.
“We need our fans, we need them to keep pulling us through games. It’s been tough but we are all as one. It has hurt us as much as it hurt them.
“Taylor is a good kid. He just needs to keep his feet on the ground. He’s playing with no fear. That’s a good thing. I was delighted for him.”
Relief
It was a big relief in the end for the visitors.
The Baggies lost six of their last seven games, the other being a draw prior to this fixture, and the pressure was already mounting on Bruce.
It needed a strong inspired performance from everyone, and Grant provided that.
Jake Livermore returned to the side after his four-game ban, and marshalled the midfield alongside youngster Gardner-Hickman.

It remains to be seen whether the victory can breathe new life into their fading play-off challenge, which seems a long shot from here on.
Grant opened the scoring when he flicked home Alex Mowatt’s fine cross in the first half.
In the second half, he scored the penalty spot after Gardner-Hickman had been brought down by Jacob Greaves.
Grant could have had his hat-trick in the end but he couldn’t match Grady Diangana’s through ball with a finish.
