Bilkul to land their ‘chosen man’ as key hours ahead for new West Brom hire
West Brom are incredibly close to securing a replacement for Andrew Nestor.
Reports emerged on Sunday that West Brom‘s president and sporting director was set to step down after a disappointing spell in B71.
After a disastrous start to the season, Bilkul Football decided that enough was enough, with Nestor’s imminent departure doing down well with the fans.
And it looks like they have found his successor in Dominic Price.

Dominic Price hours away from joining West Brom
Price is currently the technical director with Maccabi Tel Aviv, having taken over the role at the club back in July 2023.
Respected news account talkwba reported via X that a deal is close between both parties, and he could join in a matter of hours.
“Maccabi Tel Aviv’s Dominic Price is the club’s chosen man as a deal is getting closer between all parties,” the update read.
“Bilkul wanted a swift transition and are not far from securing their man. Key hours ahead.“
This was later reported by the Express & Star, and Bilkul certainly aren’t wasting any time in appointing a replacement.
Having started his footballing career as a coach at Liverpool, he went on to become a technical analyst for Blackpool.
At 35 years old, he already has a wealth of experience in the role after his work with Maccabi Tel Aviv, and he could prove to be a significant upgrade on Nestor.
While he hasn’t had a say on any of the business conducted in the transfer market, he now has to have a huge impact on the development of young players in the academy throughout the remainder of the season.
Where did Andrew Nestor go wrong at West Brom?
West Brom are facing potential relegation to League One, and rifts started to emerge between Nestor and Shilen Patel.
It was reported that Nestor wasn’t pleased with the decision to hire Eric Ramsay, yet he has no leg to stand on.
He was instrumental in the appointment of Ryan Mason, and that panned out disastrously.

His say in the recruitment process wasn’t much better, with Samuel Iling-Junior being brought in to replace Tom Fellows.
That went horribly wrong, and it was just one mistake in a whole catalogue full of errors.
Let’s hope that Price’s decisions don’t have the same repercussions when he takes over.
