West Brom vs Millwall preview: Team news, expected lineups and prediction
West Bromwich Albion are back in Championship action on Friday as they welcome Millwall to The Hawthorns.
The Baggies secured two points over Easter weekend, with draws against Wrexham and Blackburn.
With both Leicester and Oxford matching this tally, James Morrison’s side remain four points clear of the drop zone, and were given a big boost as Leicester’s six-point deduction was upheld on Wednesday.
Millwall make the trip to the Black Country having fell to a 2-1 defeat against Norwich last time out, just days after a 2-1 win against Middlesbrough launched them into the top three.
Despite the defeat, Alex Neil’s side have promotion ambitions and will provide a stern test for Albion as they strive for survival.

Now a much different prospect under Morrison, they are looking to further undo the damage done throughout the season and secure their Championship future.

When it comes to the all-time record, the visitors carry an advantage, with 21 wins to 16.

Team news and predicted lineups
For Morrison’s side, Jed Wallace remains out until the end of this month, while Karlan Grant and Mikey Johnston stay on the sidelines untl the end of the season.
Chris Mepham is a doubt with a hamstring injury, alongside Tammer Bany who remains out due to a thigh injury.
Heading into Friday’s clash, the lineup could be more of the same from the Baggies boss – seeing Callum Styles operate out on the left flank, with the defensive solidity of Charlie Taylor behind him.

On the Millwall side of things, Massimo Luongo and Lukas Jensen will continue to miss the action, with the pair out for the remainder of the campaign.
Midfielder Daniel Kelly is also a doubt. Though similarly for Neil, he has the majority of his squad to choose from as the Lions strive for promotion.
West Brom predicted XI: Griffiths; Imray, Phillips, Campbell, Taylor; Price, Molumby, Diakite, Styles; Maja, Heggebo
Millwall predicted XI: Patterson; Crama, Taylor, Cooper, Sturge; Bannan, de Norre; Azeez, Neghli; Coburn, Ivanovic
We say: West Brom 1-1 Millwall
While Millwall will be a tough test for Albion, they have proved that they can match some of the league’s best under Morrison, with points put on the board against Southampton, Hull and most recently Wrexham.
Playing before both Leicester and Oxford, their rivals do have the chance to react to whatever the scoreline is at The Hawthorns, which could leave fans anxious over the weekend.
Though, another point on the board against one of the promotion chasers would be another great result as West Brom look to secure their Championship future under Morrison.
