West Brom vs Millwall: How to watch, TV channel and kick-off time for Championship showdown

West Bromwich Albion welcome Millwall to The Hawthorns on Friday evening as they look to strengthen their Championship survival hopes.

The Baggies picked up two points over Easter weekend, with draws against both Wrexham and Blackburn.

At the same time, both Oxford and Leicester amassed the same points tally, while the Foxes have seen the decision to deduct six points upheld.

Millwall make the trip to the Black Country after suffering a 2-1 defeat to Norwich City, just days after a win against Middlesbrough saw Alex Neil’s side climb into the automatic promotion spots.

Playing before their relegation rivals, James Morrison’s side are aiming to make another statement against another of those in the hunt for promotion.

West Brom a different beast compared to previous Millwall clash

Looking ahead to Friday’s clash, Morrison’s side will carry confidence knowing that they have caused problems for sides in the promotion hunt before.

Following the 2-1 defeat to Oxford in the former midfielder’s first match in charge, the Baggies have embarked on a six-match unbeaten run.

During this time, points have been secured against the likes of Southampton, Sheffield United and Wrexham, while big wins have been earned against Hull City and Bristol City – both of whom have been in the promotion picture for periods this term.

West Brom stat

With five Championship matches remaining, they are one of the favourites to go on and secure their spot in the division, indicative of the job Morrison has done, given the circumstances he walked in on.

Millwall will provide a stern test, though this is a different West Brom side to the one that fell to a 3-0 defeat at The Den in the reverse fixture.

Playing before their relegation rivals, the chance is there to make a big statement as the Baggies strive for survival.
