West Bromwich Albion look set to endure another painful summer transfer window, as three Premier League sides have reported interest in Isaac Price.

Albion managed to secure their Championship status with the help of James Morrison, but Price’s return to form was equally as important.

The Northern Irish international has proven to be a consistent goal scorer for both club and country, and has always had the potential to play in the Premier League.

The 22-year-old has had up and down moments this campaign, but on the whole, Baggies fans would want to see the team built around him this summer.

However, West Brom supporters may have seen Price play his final game at The Hawthorns, with Premier League offers now a real possibility.

Which sides want Isaac Price?

There have been suggestions to say that West Brom should centre their transfer plans around Price this summer, with another rebuild expected, this time catered for newly appointed head coach Morrison.

The Baggies boss had his stay confirmed after a successful stint as interim head coach, which saw him help the Black Country Club avoid relegation from the Championship, despite a very late and worrying points deduction from the EFL.

According to Express & Star on Monday, Premier League trio Fulham, Crystal Palace, and Everton are all interested in signing the 23-year-old this summer.

Shilen Patel will know that he may have to sell his biggest asset once again, just 12 months after letting Tom Fellows leave The Hawthorns for a big profit.

Price grabbed 11 goal involvements in the Championship, and grabbed another assist in the FA Cup, proving to be one of Albion’s biggest threats.

If an offer comes in, it’s more than likely that West Brom will not be in a position to turn a bid down, given their recent financial struggles.

Is Price’s sale needed and why?

Some West Brom fans may argue that Price should be sold after some patches of inconsistency, but in an ideal world, everyone would want him to stay put.

It’s not known how much the Baggies will be willing to spend this summer, but giving Price up to a Premier League team could change the whole picture of things.

Given the sales of certain players from Championship clubs in recent years, West Brom should have a minimum value of £10million on Price to even start discussions.

However, if any of the three interested sides knew of Albion’s struggles off the field, they’d be smart to offer a lower up-front fee, with extra add-ons to make up for his true value
