Signing from Chelsea after a positive loan at Peterborough, not much was known about the young attacker.
That has already changed completely at The Hawthorns.
Morgan was on fire during pre-season, and has continued that into the competitive campaign already.
James Morrison was delighted as his West Brom side left Carrow Road with a 2-1 win to kick off their season perfectly on Saturday.

Taking to Instagram after the win at Norwich, Morgan was buzzing with the trip to East Anglia, made even better by the three points.
John Terry was the headline reaction to Morgan, calling him a "goal machine", which makes for great reading.
Tyler Dibling, now at Everton, even called him the "GOAT".
What next for West Brom and Morgan?
It doesn't get any easier for the Baggies, even if they are returning to The Hawthorns next week.
Burnley are next up in the Championship on 23 August, with the Carabao Cup second round to follow that in midweek.
Even that, a trip to Newcastle, makes the opening couple of weeks of this season harder than most rivals.
But, with Morgan on fire and still an unknown around both of the above clubs, it wouldn't be a massive shock if another couple of positive results are picked up.
Though controversial, Aune Heggebo getting on the scoresheet again is another huge positive.
Morrison has two strikers now scoring frequently, and with Barney Stewart desperate to make an impact too, the final third already looks different.
Gone are the days of Josh Maja, Karlan Grant and Daryl Dike struggling for form and fitness while on massive wages.
Now, West Brom have changed their strategy completely, and it's paying off for them in adundance.
