West Brom could only muster a point out of a dominant display against Charlton Athletic at The Hawthorns on Wednesday night.

Callum Styles' forceful strike in the 59th minute seemed to set Albion on their way to all three points before a defensive lapse - on a rare Charlton attack - led to an equaliser by Tyrese Campbell 10 minutes later.

It's now three games without a win for James Morrison's side, who were on top throughout almost the entirety of the 90 minutes of their midweek Championship fixture.

Charlton have had a strong start to the season themselves but Albion finished the 1-1 stalemate with 71 per cent possession and 15 shots to the away side's four.

Rabby Nzingoula turns game on it's head

Even though he only came on at half-time, Rabby Nzingoula was the stand-out man for West Brom.

Morrison threw the French midfielder on at the break to replace Kareem Tunde, who'd shown some promising glimpses during his full debut.

However, there was disappointment among the Baggies fanbase when the team news was announced before the game due to the fact Nzingoula had to make do with a spot on the bench.

After his introduction, West Brom's attack looked to have a lot more cutting edge with Nzingoula offering a new level of energy.

He wasn't afraid to run at the Charlton defence, he got stuck in and he connected the midfield and the attack far better than his teammates.

Felix Horn Myhre still struggling

We're still waiting for Felix Horn Myhre to show why West Brom paid £2.5million to sign him from Brann in the summer transfer window.

Whether it's a case of the the Norway international struggling to adapt to Morrison's system or just needs some time to settle in, he needs to pick up his game.

Myhre did get in some encouraging positions every now and then but his final product was massively lacking; you wouldn't expect a player with 'Horn' in their name to struggle with penetration.

It won't be a shock to see Morrison drop him for the home game against Watford on Saturday, or maybe stick him in a wider position.
