Harry Whitwell could be one of two changes when West Brom host Blackburn on Saturday.

The Baggies returned to winning ways against Wrexham at the Racecourse Ground after two defeats in the Championship.

Isaac Price and Aune Heggebo scored after Kieffer Moore's opener to secure all three points for James Morrison's side.

However, Whitwell was one of a few who struggled on 13 October.

The academy star has notched one goal and an assist in eight second-tier matches so far, but has blanked in his last five appearances.

It could be time for him to be taken out of the firing line against the Lancashire side.

How could West Brom line-up in Blackburn clash?

Max O'Leary is expected to start again in goal, after he made two saves against the Welsh side.

Brayann Pereira, Chris Mepham, George Campbell and Callum Styles are predicted to keep their places in the backline, after a solid showing.

Jayson Molumby and Toby Collyer might remain as the partnership at the base of midfield.

The first change is expected to come on the right, with Whitwell dropping out for Jimmy-Jay Morgan.

Price is expected to remain on the left flank after his impressive display on Tuesday.

Rabby Nzingoula was drafted into the number 10 role, and he is predicted to continue in that position after his athletic display suited it perfectly on both sides of the ball.

Finally, Barney Stewart is expected to drop out, with Heggebo taking his spot in the team after scoring the winner.

Why Morgan should be drafted in over Whitwell

Morgan should come into the side because of how poor Whitwell was against the Red Dragons.

The youngster had 39 touches in the contest, with none of them coming in the opposition box, per FotMob data.

He also failed to complete a single dribble, and did not record a successful cross from the two that he attempted.

Whitwell made just two passes into the final third, in a lacklustre attacking display, and you players sometimes need to be taken out of the firing line.

Meanwhile, Morgan only had 13 touches, with three coming in the opposition box after coming off the bench.

He managed to do something that Whitwell did not even manage once in just 14 minutes on the pitch.

That is why Morrison needs to make the tough call, and hand the 20-year-old a place on the substitutes bench against Rovers.
