West Bromwich Albion will be out to rebound from their first Championship defeat of the season when they host Charlton Athletic on Wednesday.

Albion had started their campaign with three victories in all competitions, including impressive league wins over Norwich City and Burnley.

That early season enthusiasm has been dampened slightly by back-to-back losses to Newcastle United in the EFL Cup and a 3-1 reverse to Middlesbrough last time out.

Ex-Albion loanee Will Lankshear scored twice for Boro either side of Jimmy-Jay Morgan's equaliser, before Alfie Jones also netted late on for the hosts.

Albion are out to return to winning ways quickly, though, as they welcome the Addicks to The Hawthorns on Wednesday.

Here, West Brom News is predicting two changes from James Morrison as he attempts to rediscover the winning feeling quickly.

James Morrison to stick with West Brom defence

The Baggies may have seen their backline breached six times in the last two games.

But, much of the back four was changed for the Newcastle defeat before Morrison reverted to type against Boro.

It is hard to imagine that Morrison will hit the panic button too much in defence, especially given he is not bless with options.

That means Max O'Leary should start in goal, with a back four of Nolan Galves, George Campbell, Nat Phillips, and Callum Styles starting against Nathan Jones' men.

However, there could be a couple of changes further forward.

Molumby out and Heggebo to return for West Brom

It certainly is not time to hit the panic button yet, especially given Boro are likely to be challenging near the top and Newcastle are top-flight opposition.

But Morrison might want to tweak thing slightly for this one, though Harry Whitwell and Isaac Price are set to remain on the flanks.

There could be a change in the centre of midfield, though, with Jayson Molumby dropping out and Rabby Nzingoula getting the nod to add some energy.

Up top there could be a tweak too, with Aune Heggebo perhaps coming in to add more physical presence alongside Morgan, and Felix Horn Myhre dropping to the bench.
