West Brom predicted XI vs Derby County: First start for Collyer as Morrison benches two defenders

The games continue to come thick and fast for West Bromwich Albion this season.

On Saturday, the Baggies returned to winning ways in a 1-0 win over Watford at The Hawthorns.

Jimmy-Jay Morgan scored the only goal of the game to leave Albion fifth in the Championship, just one point off top spot.

James Morrison is already preparing his side for their next league outing, though.

On Wednesday, Albion make the trip to Pride Park to face a Derby County side who are 20th in the table after a slow start to the campaign.

Here, West Brom News is predicting Morrison to make four changes to his starting XI to keep his team fresh.

Nat Phillips to return in two defensive changes for West Brom

Max O'Leay has got the number one berth on lock at West Brom, and it is hard to imagine a change between the sticks barring any late injury.

However, Morrison could be tempted to Brayann Pereira his firsts start at right-back since joining from NEC Nijmegen in the transfer window.

Nolan Galves has started well, but it might do him good to start on the bench for this one, though Callum Styles is likely to keep his place at left-back.

One other change might see Nat Phillips return at centre-back, despite how well Chris Mepham performed in the win over the Hornets.

George Campbell seems certain to retain his place in the other centre-back role in a continuation of a 4--4-2 from Morrison.

Toby Collyer to get first start since West Brom return

Moving into midfield, Harry Whitwell has been a real breakout performer for Albion so far.

However, he was named on the subs bench for the Charlton Athletic draw in Albion's last midweek outing.

Morrison may be wary of overloading him given he is still new to the Championship, which might see Kareem Tunde given another go on the right flank.

Toby Collyer has yet to appear since rejoining on a full transfer late in the window from Manchester United.

This might be the game he comes into central midfield to partner Ousmane Diakite, which would see Rabby Nzingoula drop to the bench.

Isaac Price seems set to continue on the left wing, while the in-form Morgan will be chomping at the bit for more minutes.

Aune Heggebo started for the first time since a retrospective ban against Norwich City, and you would expect Morrison to stick with him here.
