West Brom vs Burnley player ratings: Harry Whitwell superb but new signing off the pace
West Bromwich Albion continued their unbeaten start to the new Championship season with a 3-1 win against Burnley.
James Morrison made one enforced change to his Albion side that won 2-1 at Norwich City last weekend.
Aune Heggebo was handed a two-game suspension for his handball goal, and that meant Jayson Molumby was recalled to the midfield.
Burnley took the lead on eight minutes through a Callum Styles own goal, before Harry Whitwell netted the equaliser just 10 minutes later.
Isaac Price then bagged a second-half brace to ensure Albion maintained their 100 per cent wining record in the Championship this term.

Harry Whitwell takes big step to undroppable status vs Burnley
One of the standout performers of pre-season, Whitwell has carried his summer form into the new Championship campaign.
The versatile 20-year-old midfielder was operating from the right flank against Burnley, the same role he performed against Norwich.
He was very impressive at Carrow Road, and he took that up another notch on Sunday with a man of the match display against the Clarets.
He took his goal superbly well, sweeping home a left-footed effort from just inside the Burnley box following a clever knockdown from Jimmy-Jay Morgan.
His day got even better on 64 minutes, when his smart touch into the box saw Bashir Humphreys clip his legs, taking Whitwell down and giving referee Anthony Backhouse no choice but to point to the spot.
All afternoon long he was a constant thorn in Burnley's side, as their talented defensive unit couldn't solve the puzzle he presented before being withdrawn on 81 minutes.
Constantly drifting into half spaces, Whitwell oozed confidence and class on the ball, and it's now almost unthinkable that he was playing in the National League last season.
So, as Mikey Johnston continues his return to fitness, he's going to have a very tough time ousting Whitwell from the starting XI.
It would be incredibly harsh for Morrison to drop him given the form he's in, and with how much faith he's placed in him, that's surely not going to happen.
However, there is one West Brom player who could be sweating on his place in the side after his Burnley display.
Felix Horn Myhre had a reality check vs Burnley
After impressing in his first two West Brom outings against Rotherham and Norwich, Felix Horn Myhre was considerably quieter on Sunday.
The 27-year-old was pushed on into a more advanced role in Heggebo's absence, but struggled to really get into the game.
He was, however, involved in a contentious moment for Burnley's opening goal of the game, as he had a strong case for being fouled in the build-up.
Nevertheless, the Norwegian wasn't really in the game, and looked like a player who wasn't particularly convinced of what he needed to be doing up top.
He would also squander a golden chance on 68 minutes, after Whitwell played a clever ball into the box and straight into his path.
Unfortunately, Myhre's first touch on his left foot let him down, allowing Burnley keeper Max Weiss to pounce and tackle the ball away from him.
With Heggebo still to miss one more match, Morrison may look to hand Barney Stewart a fresh chance to impress in Myhre's place against Newcastle in the League Cup.
