West Brom will not consider hiring Graham Potter to replace Carlos Corberan, according to DOOD.

The Baggies insider reported via X (24 December) that the former Chelsea manager's wage demands are beyond the West Midlands club's reach.

Steve Cooper and Mark Robins, though, are under consideration at The Hawthorns as Corberan edges closer to joining Valencia.

West Brom eye Steve Cooper and Mark Robins to replace Carlos Corberan

West Brom suffered a crushing blow when it emerged on Monday (23 December) that Valencia are keen to hire Corberan as their new head coach.

The interest quickly gained pace, with the 41-year-old's move to the La Liga club being signed off [DOOD].

The Baggies, though, do not intend to dwell on the disappointment of losing Corberan as they have set their sights on naming a replacement quickly.

Recently sacked Southampton boss Russell Martin is also said to be on the list of candidates [Chris Lepowski].

Cooper is the latest name in the mix. He is without a club after being sacked as the Leicester manager in November.

With several options available, it would not be a surprise to see the Championship club announce a replacement for Corberan by the end of the week, although the Spaniard's exit is yet to be confirmed.
