How West Brom can grant James Morrison wish with Jamaldeen Jimoh-Aloba again

West Bromwich Albion are weighing up another move for Jamaldeen Jimoh-Aloba.

The Baggies just can't seem to fully let go of the 19-year-old, almost two years on since he left The Hawthorns to join Aston Villa.

The Englishman looks likely to leave Villa Park on loan once more after spending the second half of last season back with Albion.

He managed to make 11 appearances, with James Morrison handing him some big opportunities in the midst of a relegation scrap.

Though he didn't have the desired effect in the small number of chances that he got for the Black Country Club, he is still highly rated internally by Villa.

Now, West Brom could agree terms to sign Jimoh-Aloba for a third time.

According to Ontheminute, West Brom are weighing up a move to bring Jimoh-Aloba back to The Hawthorns.

Though no approach is believed to be advanced, a loan move has emerged as a possibility for the Baggies ahead of the transfer deadline.

Fellow Championship side Preston North End are also in the mix and are said to be considering a move for the teenager, who can play out wide or centrally.

Any departure for the Birmingham-born winger would depend on Villa and their decision on what move is best for his development pathway.

Jimoh-Aloba can play several positions, though he offers something that Morrison himself has already stated that he wants adding to his squad soon.

While speaking to the Express and Star, Morrison was quizzed on whether he would like West Brom to sign a new winger.

He replied: “Yes - there is no big answer, just yes. I want wingers. There’s nothing better than seeing a good winger go one-v-one and get you off your seat. We'll see what happens."

Jimoh-Aloba is someone who liked to take on his man with the Baggies, but perhaps showcased his skills a little too late.

It was always going to take time for the Englishman to settle back in, especially considering he wasn't first in the pecking order, not to mention the ongoing relegation tensions.

Jimoh-Aloba could be primed to showcase his best version of himself under Morrison's new-look squad, and give the Albion head coach exactly what he desires most.
