West Bromwich Albion will know how they can bring Jamaldeen Jimoh-Aloba back from Aston Villa this summer.

The 19-year-old returned to The Hawthorns on loan in January after previously departing the academy in 2023.

There was a mix of excitement and frustration when he came in, with the latter due to the relegation scrap the Baggies found themselves in.

That ultimately proved to be the England under-20 international's downfall as he hardly featured under James Morrison.

A drop into League One was avoided and now the Albion have kick-started their latest campaign in the Championship.

Jimoh-Aloba could soon be on his way back to West Brom should the right offer be made to Aston Villa.

What West Brom must offer to sign Jamaldeen Jimoh-Aloba

The idea of bringing in young talents on loan from Villa Park doesn't sit right with many supporters.

The Hawthorns faithful want to see their own academy players given a chance at first-team level.

That opinion could soon change should Jimoh-Aloba come back in and look to make an impact.

A return could be on the cards with Ontheminute reporting on Sunday that West Brom are considering another loan deal for the attacking midfielder.

They are weighing up their options, while Preston North End and Swansea City are also interested.

Villa are keen to find somewhere that their 2006-talent can play regularly and actually develop as a first-team player.

That could see whoever can offer the most gametime win the race to sign Jimoh-Aloba this summer.

How Jimoh-Aloba can fit in at West Brom

There may be some fans who are unsure about bringing the teenager back to B71 this summer.

His initial loan spell was truly uninspiring and didn't live up to any sort of expectation.

Things could change this time around with the potential of getting a full campaign under his belt.

Jimoh-Aloba could serve as a useful alternative to Isaac Price after he started in a wide role against Norwich City.

The Villa youngster could also thrive in that area with the chance to flow centrally at times to link up with Jimmy-Jay Morgan and Aune Heggebo.

That would add another point of difference to this Baggies squad, although that may not work for the Villans.

They will want him to be a regular starter, so the final call will be an interesting one.
