Kareem Tunde now set for West Brom medical after Levante announcement

Levante winger Kareem Tunde is expected to be a new West Bromwich Albion player soon.

The Baggies have reached an agreement with the Spanish side, and the 21-year-old's arrival in B71 now feels imminent.

Once the final details are clarified, the Albion will be able to announce the Spain national's signing.

Levante already seem to have indicated that Tunde's move to The Hawthorns is underway.

The Barcelona-born forward broke out at the Estadi Ciutat de Valencia last season, making 21 appearances in LaLiga.

It looks like James Morrison is finally getting his attacking reinforcements at the Black Country outfit, with the Levante winger set to undergo his medical.

Why Kareem Tunde transfer to West Brom is imminent

West Brom have been pursuing Tunde's signature and are close to finally getting their man.

The winger's transfer to the Baggies can practically be considered a done deal.

According to Nostresport on 25 August, the Albion will pay around £2.6million for the Spaniard, with Levante also due a 25 per cent sell-on clause on any future sale.

Only once the final formalities are ironed out and the medical is completed can the deal for Tunde be made official in B71.

The attacker was also left out of the LaLiga club's squad for their trip to El Sadar to face Osasuna in the league on 24 August.

All signs indicate that Levante expect Tunde to leave before the transfer deadline.

James Morrison's attacking options assessed after Kareem Tunde deal

Morrison is certainly in desperate need of new wingers, with Mikey Johnston the only natural experienced option out wide.

Tunde can play on either side and will add much-needed depth at West Brom.

Whether the young winger can make a place for himself in the Baggies' starting lineup is a different question.

Considering the form Isaac Price and Harry Whitwell are in, it will be difficult for anyone to dislodge them from Morrison's plans.

Both versatile midfielders have had a strong start to the season playing on opposite ends of the pitch.

Against Burnley, Whitwell scored the equaliser while Price scored a brace to help the Albion win 3-1 at The Hawthorns.

Tunde will surely face tough competition in B71.
