West Brom Super Fans react to Daryl Dike links this week

This is part of a regular series from our panel of West Brom Super Fans. Each week, Super Fans from our West Brom News Facebook page will deliver their verdicts on the biggest talking points and news stories around The Hawthorns.

West Brom have made it no secret that they would like to bring in another striker if possible in the January window.

Valerien Ismael is eyeing a reunion with Orlando forward Daryl Dike, who was on loan at Barnsley with him last season.

The Express and Star also reported that the American was the number one target at The Hawthorns if possible.

Dike has been in brilliant form since moving back to the MLS.

The young attacker is likely to cost a hefty fee, meaning a loan move is the most likely outcome should the Baggies make their move.

The Albion may also need to sign up to a substantial option to turn that switch into a permanent one if they’re promoted this season.

Based on how things are currently going though, that will be a real battle between now and May to make it happen.

Fulham and Bournemouth are flying in the Championship and it would take something special to jump ahead of them, but there is plenty of time for that to happen.

We asked our West Brom Super Fans over on Facebook whether they would welcome this move in January and the response was overwhelming.

The majority insisted that there was “no chance” of the move happening with any funds not likely to be available to Ismael in the window.

Here’s what they said below…
