West Brom gear up to make new leadership announcement after behind-the-scenes arrivals
West Bromwich Albion are making changes behind the scenes off the back of a dreadful season.
The Baggies were shocking throughout most of the campaign, with relegation to League One becoming a distinct possibility.
Those fears were exacerbated by a two-point deduction towards the end of the season, which luckily wasn’t enough to send Albion down to the third tier for only the second time in their history.
James Morrison’s heroics were ultimately to thank as he dragged his side away from the bottom three after instilling a positive atmosphere in B71.
West Brom are now changing things at the top with a view to building for the future, so this year can’t repeat itself at The Hawthorns.

West Brom announce boardroom shuffle
There have certainly been complaints aimed towards the hierarchy in the Black Country after recent struggles on and off the pitch.
The appointments of Ryan Mason and Eric Ramsay have only made everything look worse alongside some poor transfer business.
| Manager | Wins | Draws | Losses |
| James Morrison | 5 | 6 | 2 |
| Eric Ramsay | 0 | 4 | 5 |
| Ryan Mason | 9 | 4 | 14 |
That all contributed to a shocking campaign where nothing truly went right until the final weeks under an interim head coach.
The Baggies board aren’t burying their heads in the sand and are already making moves to address what has gone wrong.
At the latest Albion Assembly Meeting, Mark Miles confirmed he had returned to join the board alongside the newly appointed Non-Executive Director, Jason Roberts.
Sam Jeffrey has joined as Chief Business Officer to boost revenue, while Dominic Price is now Technical Director to help with the football side.
The completed structure is set to be revealed over the summer and is said to be ready to “help take the club forward”.
West Brom were terrible last season, but fans have been assured that the B71 club have learned from their mistakes and will now strengthen and build towards the future.
What does the new-look West Brom board need to do this summer?
There may be new faces around The Hawthorns in the boardroom, but that needs to follow suit on the pitch.
Obvious wins are there that the board can take off the pitch, like improving the PA system and the fan zone in B71.

That is all well and good, but it will only truly be appreciated if the right signings are made once the summer transfer window opens.
The Baggies are in desperate need of an overhaul and have already taken a positive step by hiring Morrison and letting the likes of Jed Wallace and Daryl Dike go.
It will now come down to the right players departing before others come in with a view to a much-improved campaign in the Black Country.
