West Brom player ratings vs QPR: Felix Horn Myhre delivers Albion best display, 4/10 anonymous
West Bromwich Albion played out a 1-1 draw with Queens Park Rangers on Saturday.
James Morrison made five changes to the team that beat Derby County 1-0 at Pride Park last time out.
Toby Collyer, Chris Mepham, Conor Townsend, Felix Horn Myhre and Rabby Nzingoula all came into the side.
Ousmane Diakite, Jimmy-Jay Morgan, George Campbell, Brayann Pereira and Harry Whitwell all came out of the lineup.
QPR took the lead on 38 minutes after a hugely unfortunate own goal from Mepham, before Callum Styles equalised minutes later with a lovely left-footed finish.
West Brom News grades every Albion player who took part in Saturday's 12:30pm kick-off out of 10.
Felix Horn Myhre should cement West Brom role after QPR
Having joined West Brom this summer, Horn Myhre has had a mixed start to life as a Baggie.
The 27-year-old versatile attacking midfielder's place in Morrison's side looked to be coming under threat over the last two games.
Indeed, he played just 17 minutes against Watford and was an unused substitute against Derby.
But coming back into the lineup on Saturday, the Norwegian grabbed the assist for Styles' goal and put in a confident and classy display.
He also showed real toughness and quality in the physical side of the game, and should now be a locked-in starter moving forward.
There was, however, one Albion player who just wasn't in the game at all, and didn't take his chance to make his mark when presented with it.
Aune Heggebo looked lost without his strike partner
One of the shock pieces of West Brom team news for QPR was Morrison's decision to bench the red-hot Morgan.
He and Aune Heggebo have been crafting a potent partnership at the spearhead of Albion's attack this season.
Leading the line on his own on Saturday, Heggebo cut a hugely isolated figure, and took only 13 touches in the game, as per FotMob.
He passed up a golden opportunity when sending a sliding effort over the bar from a matter of yards in the first half too.
It was glaringly obvious evidence to Morrison that if he's to get the best out of Heggebo, then he most likely needs to keep Morgan by his side.
