James Morrison may consider changing a winning formula when West Bromwich Albion take on Burnley this weekend.

The Baggies beat Norwich City 2-1 at Carrow Road in their Championship opener last Saturday.

Aune Heggebo and Jimmy-Jay Morgan were on the scoresheet for Albion as Morrison's men pushed on from a strong end to last season.

As impressive as that win was, Morrison will know the visit of Burnley - relegated from the Premier League last season - will provide a tougher test.

And that may well be reflected in Morrison's starting line-up at The Hawthorns, including a full debut being handed out.

West Brom News looks at how Albion could line up for what should be an entertaining clash with Burnley.

Will Jayson Molumby start vs Burnley?

One of the big calls Morrison has to make is in the centre of the pitch, where Ousmane Diakite and Felix Myhre got the nod last week.

Diakite picked up a yellow card and a minor injury, however, and was taken off late on.

Morrison has confirmed Diakite is not 100 per cent fit, so the Mali international will surely be left out against the Clarets.

A fit-and-ready Jayson Molumby instead looks primed to come into the side after being introduced as a substitute in East Anglia.

Elsewhere, Morrison surely will not consider tinkering with Heggebo and Morgan up top after their performances in the opener.

That is bad news for Barney Stewart, who will have to be patient for the time being.

What other change could James Morrison make vs Burnley?

Morrison will not want to change things too much given his side were winners last time out.

But he may also be tempted to chuck in Rabby Nzingoula for a full debut after he caught the eye in his 25 minutes on the field last week.

That would be at the expense of Harry Whitwell, who was a somewhat surprise starter against Norwich but more than held his own.

Isaac Price and Myhre have likely done enough to retain their spots in the side, which is also the case for the back five.

Morrison will just be glad to have some options to choose from, even if Baggies fans would still like to see one or two new faces before the window shuts.
