West Bromwich Albion are preparing for their first competitive home game of the season as Burnley visit The Hawthorns.

The Baggies started their season away from home with a 2-1 win versus Norwich.

The upcoming clash against the Clarets will provide a chance for many to make their home debut in front of a loud and boisterous crowd.

Spirits are certainly high following that opening day win at Carrow Road.

James Morrison has been handed plenty new signings as the B71 outfit look to push forward from their 21st place finish in the 2025-2026 season.

He proved himself capable of managing this side and here are the members of the squad who are in line for that home debut.

Which West Brom players can make Hawthorns debut vs Burnley?

West Brom have been busy in the transfer window, so there are set to be quite a few players rocking out at the Hawthorns for the first-time.

The B71 crowd will undoubtedly provide them a warm welcome, with spirits lifted following the opening day win against Norwich.

There are seven new additions to Morrison's squad, but not all of them will feature or be technically debutants.

After scoring and assisting against Norwich, Jimmy-Jay Morgan will assuredly retain his place up front.

Meanwhile, Felix Horn-Myhre and Nolan Galves who both started at Carrow Road are likely to feature again.

Rabby Nzingoula was handed his debut in that fixture too, pointing towards a potential involvement on Sunday, 23 August.

Barney Stewart was also brought off the bench but only for additional time. His appearance could depend on the state of the game.

All of the above would be making their home debuts for the Baggies.

Conor Townsend has already featured at The Hawthorns before in his original spell in B71, so he would be making a second debut if handed minutes.

Matt Ingram will only make his debut should an injury or red card hit Max O'Leary between the sticks.

Could anyone else join in time for Burnley clash?

West Brom have been linked with a return for Toby Collyer, however, after his previous loan spell, he has already made his debut at the Hawthorns.

Likewise, Jamaldeen Jimoh-Aloba has been linked with a West Brom return, in what would also be a second debut if that goes through.

Will Smallbone has emerged as a midfield option for West Brom, but it remains to be seen if the Baggies act on that interest.

But if signed in time, he could make his debut this weekend.

Cameron Archer is another West Brom could sign, but after links throughout the summer, that trail has gone quite cold.
